How We Won OSEntreprendre With a Mental Health App
Published on 12.06.2025 · Entrepreneurship
When we first started building Quietnest, we never imagined the impact it could have. The idea that it would be recognized at a national level felt far away at the time.
Winning the OSEntreprendre college-level prize was a big moment for our small team. We’re introverts who care about mental health, and Quietnest was born from personal needs and reflections, not from a business plan.
We kept things simple. We listened to our early users. We worked with professionals. We launched fast, failed fast, and kept improving. It wasn’t flashy, but it was thoughtful and real.
The jury appreciated how grounded our approach was. The app had real impact, real design decisions based on research, and a strong voice built on values, not hype.
For us, this wasn’t about building the next viral thing. It was about helping people understand their social energy and take care of their mental space. And apparently, that matters.
Quietnest is live now and still growing. This award is just a step in the journey. The best part is seeing people actually feel better using something we created.
